Well, our Daisy Reader is the neatest thing.
The Daisy Reader is an automated reader for the visually or mobility impaired. It is about the size of a hard cover book and reads special CD's. I have been listening to the titles we have while shelving and inputting new titles.
We have a dozen or so titles availalbe now and many more we can borrow through the TRAC system. If you are a member of the CNIB, you can subscribe to their magazine and book subscriptions free of charge. Once books are ordered, they can be either mailed directly to you or picked up at the library.
Drop by for a demo and more information.
Happy reading, oops, listening.
