And you're using plastic diapers why?
America consumes 31.2 billion water bottles a year taking 17.6 million barrels of oil to create them. Enough to fuel 1.5 million cars for a year. America consumes 100 billion plastic bags a year taking 12 million barrels of oil. World figures? 154.3 billion water bottles and 500 billion - 1 trillion bags=147.4 - 207.4 million barrels of oil a year.
Have you ever really thought about how much plastic we are using in disposable diapers? A one time use product just like bags and less than 22% of the population is using them. Here is an idea, why not focus some of this media attention on the plastic disposable diaper and really look at the amount of harm we are doing to our Earth and the children. I am challenging anyone to question the facts...
facts:
- Anyone trying to rationalize using a disposable diaper is full of crap.
- Nothing speaks louder than action, shut up and start doing something about it.
- Disposable diapers are made of plastic. Enough said.
- Cloth is reusable, renewable and less expensive.
I have been a customer of HAPPY NAPPY for two children now. I am speaking from experience and commitment. I have also tried washing my own and a family member gave me a gift from another service. Their old diaper was as good as a disposable and their new diaper is even better and absorbs a full 13 hrs worth of nighttime messes. They are less expensive than disposables and less than the other diaper services. They also use phosphate free detergents, recycled plastic pails and even their fabrics are made from recycled plastic. I can not understand why, when there is a service like this out there that people are still using disposables. If we are mature enough to have children then we need to start making mature decisions.

I have published this and removed names of competitors, dollar amounts and some of the language (it was a little more colourful) sorry RD.
