Will look into the book

This looks like a good idea for a book! I am constantly amazed at how obsessed with THINGS our culture is. It makes me sad.

simple and interesting

i have been doing my own research on our culture and how much waste is accumulating on a daily basis. This book is a help for everyone, breaking down simplistically how much waste goes into everything that consuming is. informative and good read!

Reuse

Importance for THINGS - sad :(. I think it especially makes sense to reuse stuff for kids because they outgrow THINGS so fast.

Interesting.

I was planning on going through my "stuff" tonight to try to sell/pass on, I have accumulated too much stuff!! Interesting to stumble upon this contest today of all times. Especially when I know that I'll start to go through my things and think "Oh, I'll save that" or "I may want that later". lol

Very interesting sounding book

I will have to check out that book. I am especially interested in reading the author's "vision for change". Sounds like a great read!

Hmmmmm!

I think this would be an interesting book to read. We as a family have been trying to recycle more and be more aware of what we are using. I am always trying to sort through closets and reuse or give away things that we no longer need.
