This year the Mannville Ag Fair Board asked the Mannville Library if they would like to cook hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch and what a crowd we had. We served close to 200 hamburgers and 70 hotdogs plus the United Church ladies sold out of soup and sandwiches inside the hall. This just goes to show what great support we have from our community and surrounding area. Many thanks to Gail & Lawrence Hess, Gail & George Ruttan and Lynne Roland for helping with this event.

Many thanks to one of our young patron who agreed to wear the mascot costume and ride on our parade float. Every year our library puts a float in the Mannville Agricultural Fair parade to promote our library in our community. Running along side is Library Manager Brenda Walker, whom by a recent report says she still has the arm required to throw candy and bouncy balls to all those gathered on the streets of Mannville to watch this yearly event.
