In the early morning hours of June 6, 2015 the Gido Shack emergency shelter was destroyed by fire. Since that time, the shelter has been rebuilt in kind and is available for use. In addition a standing building is being renovated for use at the Lac Sante River Park, located at NE34-55-11W4M. Trail travel was difficult last season due to wet conditions and plans are for 2018 workbees to repair damage to trails and bridges. More...
