I’m super excited to be attending the 30th Annual Smoky Lake Great White North Pumpkin Weigh-Off & Fair! Did you know, in 2017 Don Crews broke the Smoky Lake record with his 1,652 lbs. pumpkin! Which makes it to the “Heavy Hitters” list on the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth page but isn’t very close to the world record of 2624.6 lbs.!! I have never seen a pumpkin that big that’s for sure!! Epcor will require a shutdown of the North Side Transmission Line in order to relocate and install a new water metering station. This will shut down the evening of Sept. 30th and brought back into service Oct. 3rd. During this time we are requesting the residences of Lamont to reduce your water consumption.
