I live in Carlyle, SK. Canada. It is a very pretty little town in the southeast corner. I was raised just a few kilometers down the road in the village of Manor.  Hi everyone! Because of some current heating issues the Expressway Family Centre has had to temporarily relocate our programs to some other spots in the community. The PreSchool and Pre-Kindergarten Programs can be found in the board room of the Ada Staples Library.  Parent/Child Drop-In programming can be found at the fellowship hall of St. Peter Lutheran Church (109 Galloway Dr.).  The Expressway Family Centre in Oxbow is excited to offer Spidey Sports - an after school recreation program beginning on Wednesday September 16. Spidey Sports is for Oxbow Prairie Horizons School Students in Kindergarten to Grade 2 and will run once a week on Wednesdays after school from 3:30 - 4:30 in the Multi-purpose room. I heard it again, just the other day, the phrase "the town should". Generally speaking, it leads to identifying a community need, but it usually floats away on the wind...left without feet. This happens partly because the wish for the service the person thinks is lacking in their community never gets to the ears it needs to get to in order to make it happen.
