Two of our volunteers are attending the Food Banks Alberta 2018 Conference this Wednesday to Friday. The conference started with a progressive meal and food bank tours Wednesday afternoon starting at noon at Parkland Food Bank in Spruce Grove, followed by WEE Food Bank in Entwistle, Edson Food Bank and Hinton Food Bank. First off a big thank you to Cst. Andrew Sallows with Smoky Lake RCMP & Smoky Lake District Officer Erik Graf Von Platen for helping to make our school presentations a success. They attend the schools with our director Patty Franchuk to speak to the students about crime prevention in the school, their communities as well as their homes.
