Description: Reporting to and receiving direct supervision from the Executive Assistant, the Municipal Services Clerk is responsible for providing front office clerical support in a variety of areas,including: applying the County procedures on processing and balancing cash receipts; providing clerical support relative to property taxes, such as setting up accounts for new subdivisions, updating municipal records, and administering the Citizen Self-Service system; administering and updating name and address system; providing filing and administration; and providing back-up reception duties as needed. Additional duties or special projects may also be assigned within the scope of the work performed.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have completed a high school diploma or GED, supplemented with experience or training in basic bookkeeping and MS Office products. In addition, this position requires the ability to communicate clearly and with accuracy, time management and punctuality, accountability for own actions, courteous and positive attitude when interfacing with others, and respective privacy and confidentiality.
