On behalf of our client located downtown, we are recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator who is looking for an opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills. Reporting to the HR Manager you will assist in recruiting a variety of legal support and office personnel. You will pre-screen, qualify individuals and ensure a thorough pre-employment process is adhered to meet the criteria set out in the company’s policies. You will also assist with onboarding functions, manage benefits and process payroll bi monthly plus additional tasks as required.
To qualify for this unique position, individuals must have a minimum 2-3 years proven payroll experience plus recruitment experience with administrative and clerical personnel in a corporate environment.
Proficiency on MS suite, Ceridian InSync & Dayforce modules is an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates working towards Human Resources degree, any payroll courses will be beneficial.
This position is best suited to individuals who are self-directed, have a strong work ethic organization & communication skills and take pride in customer service and the quality of work they produce.
This is a 14 month maternity leave, to start February 1st.
Position will have full-time benefits.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with one hour for lunch.
