|Description||On behalf of our client, an international engineering/construction company servicing the oil & gas sector, we are recruiting for a Recruiter to assist with the hiring of a large volume of trades for a new project.
This is a great opportunity to advance your knowledge and skills. Reporting to the HR Generalist you will be working to recruit a variety of trade’s personnel. You will pre-screen, qualify individuals and ensure a thorough pre-employment process is adhered to meet the criteria set out in the company’s policies. You will also assist with onboarding functions and additional tasks as assigned to help the HR team.
|Qualifications||To qualify for this career position, individuals must have a minimum of 1 year proven recruitment experience of trades personnel, administrative experience in a human resources department, proficiency on MS suite, PeopleSoft experience is an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates working towards HR certification or a career in human resources. This position is best suited to individuals who are self-directed, have a strong work ethic organization & communication skills and take pride in customer service and the quality of work they produce.
This is an immediate opportunity, to start month to month as a Temporary employee with the potential to turn permanent.
Vehicle is a must as this location in not on a transit route and overtime may be required.
