Welcome to Genie's Treasured Pets... We offer a full service store for your pets needs. Our Services include Dog Grooming done by Wayne Hill. Wayne has also trained in Animal Accupressure and has for many years studied Alternative Health Care. We have a great selection of dog and cat toys, treats, food, collars, leads, beds, kennels, carriers, coats, hats, eyewear, boots and much, much more. Check out The Photo Gallery for Picture's of our Store. We sell Acana and Orijen food products. All of our food as well as treats are human grade. We also have a great selection of Alternative Health Products for you and your pets!

We also have some beautiful dogs up for adoption as we do Dog Rescue. It makes us very sad that so many people take a pet home and realise that it takes more Love and Care than they are willing to give and throw them out of moving vehicles or take them to have them put to sleep, or abuse an animal so willing to give them unconditional love. Thats where we step in and strive to find a Kind and Loving family to adopt them. We will post pictures of these beautiful little and not so little sweeties. Our adoption fees are $200.00 and  all of this money goes right back into our Dog Rescue Fund. All of the money spent to care for these sweethearts comes from our pocket with help from those of you who make donations to help us with our cause. Also due to having so many Rescue dogs coming and going we will no longer be able provide boarding as our rescue dogs need all of our time and attention.

       WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEER DOG WALKERS AS AT THE MOMENT WE HAVE '8' RESCUE DOGS,AND NOT ENOUGH HANDS..IF YOU HAVE SOME SPARE TIME PLEASE HELP US HELP THE DOGS. Times needed, noon and 3pm.  WE ARE LOCATED RIGHT ON HIGHWAY 2A IN MILLET. 780-387-2214.

Well last year we adopted out 83 wonderful dogs to Happy & Loving Homes. Many of the new parents stop in or write us and let us know how our little friends are doing. We really appreciate that as we think of them often. Already we have adopted out 36 little sweeties in 2008. At the moment we still have 8 wonderful dogs waiting for a home.  If you are interested in adopting one of our kids please keep in mind we DO NOT adopt them out to be free roaming!!!!! They need to be part of a loving family. With a fenced yard and be part of the home, inside/outside. We will NOT make exceptions to this rule as we did once and now one of our dogs in is Doggie Heaven as it was hit by a car ( not a happy ending)and I for one like a Happy Ending! Please if you are a renter, make sure your landlord has no issue with having a pet!!! These wonderful dogs become attached to you quickly and are very sad when you have to return them. Also keep in mind you are making a life long commitment to care for your new friend!!!!!!
