Welcome Cold Lake Seniors!

GREETINGS FROM THE COLD LAKE SENIORS’ SOCIETY

The Executive of the Cold Lake Seniors’ Society would like to take this opportunity to invite all the young people out there over the age of 50 years to come and join us. We feel that we have a lot to offer the young at heart, such as those activities listed. As well we have special events like our Grand Opening, just past with a Neil Diamond Impersonator and the up-coming supper and show featuring The Alberta Legends of Country Music on November 1st.

We also have regular events such as our Country Jamboree on the first Sunday of each month through the winter, our Soup and Sandwich lunch the 2nd Wednesday plus our Potluck Birthday Supper the last Wednesday of the month.

We feel we are making some advances with the Society only because our membership has grown considerably as well as the participation in the Activities. We must make all prospective members aware that we are always looking for new and fresh ideas. The last thing we want is to become stagnant. We are in the middle of renovations to the hall and thanks to ENCANA, DRYWALL SERVICES, JIMCO ELECTRIC, and ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS. The facility is much more inviting and pleasant when attending functions. We are keeping our fingers crossed in hopes that the City will soon sell us the Harbour View outright and we will truly have a home.

Finally we would like to invite all Seniors young and old to come out and see what the Society is all about and how much enjoyment is available. See you there soon.
