What's Going on at LLBCL – Feb 4th Edition

2020 LEGO Competition will be held on Saturday, Feb 8th at the Stuart MacPherson Public Library. Bring in your creation using your own plastic LEGO® Bricks and completed entry form between 10:00-3:00pm or drop by the library to create your entry that day using our Lego. Prizes and certificates will be awarded. There will be free LEGO workshops throughout the day and the registration form is on our website under the quick links.

Rattle and Chat will run on Wednesday January 8th - February 12th from 10:30 -11:30am in the Wild Rose Room. This free partner program between Lac La Biche County Libraries & Parent Link is designed for ages 0 - 17 months and their caregivers with no registration required.

2020 Winter Reading Club. All ages are welcome to participate in the Winter Reading Club. Track every minute spent reading for the months of January and February for a chance to amazing prizes! To ensure your chance to win, please fill in our online Winter Reading Log which is available on our home page under the quick links and is due on or before by March 1st.

Rhyme Time is held on Thursdays in the Wild Rose Room staring at 10:30am. This free drop-in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5 and no registration is required.

Steampunkery: A STEAM Program will be held on select Wednesdays from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Upcoming projects include:
• Feb 26th - Ice Making
• Mar 11th – Rose Globe
• Mar 25th – How strong is spaghetti?

Ladies Night
for ages 13 and up will be held on Friday, Feb 28th from 6-10pm and registration is required before Monday, February 24th. Come paint a masterpiece, get pampered, and peruse our collection. Snacks & hot chocolate will be provided at this after-hours event and while it is a free event… donations for the supplies are gratefully appreciated.

Health and Wellness Fair table registration is now open for the event on Thursday, Mar 12th from 4-6:30pm
