What's Going on at LLBCL – Feb 18th Edition

2020 Winter Reading Club. All ages are welcome to participate in the Winter Reading Club. Track every minute spent reading for the months of January and February for a chance to amazing prizes! To ensure your chance to win, please fill in our online Winter Reading Log which is available on our home page under the quick links and is due on or before by March 1st.

Chicka Chicka Book Club sessions will run from Wednesday, February 19th - May 6th in the Wild Rose Room. Registration for this free partner program between the Lac Biche County Libraries, Parent Link and Alberta Health Services is required. This program is designed for ages 18-35 months old and children need to be accompanied by their caregiver. Call 780-623-7467 for more details or to register.

Rhyme Time
is held on Thursdays in the Wild Rose Room staring at 10:30am. This free drop-in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5 and no registration is required.

Health and Wellness Fair table registration is now open for the event on Thursday, Mar 12th from 4-6:30pm

Steampunkery: A STEAM Program will be held on select Wednesdays from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Upcoming projects include:
• Feb 26th - Ice Making
• Mar 11th – Rose Globe
• Mar 25th – How strong is spaghetti?

Ladies Night for ages 13 and up will be held on Friday, Feb 28th from 6-10pm. While registration is required before Monday, February 24th please note that we are now taking names for the waiting list. Come paint a masterpiece, get pampered, and peruse our collection. Snacks & hot chocolate will be provided at this after-hours event and while it is a free event… donations for the supplies are gratefully appreciated.
