Library Plan of Service Public Input Session Every 5 years the Lac La Biche County Library Board is required by the Provincial Government to write a strategic plan. The provincial model invites members of our communities to contribute and actively participate in identifying the needs of our entire community. In turn this information will help us identify library services that support those needs. Residents of Lac La Biche County including the surrounding settlements and reserves are invited to give their feedback by attending one of the Library Plan of Service Public Input Sessions scheduled on Monday, March 16th at the Stuart MacPherson Public Library. These facilitator lead sessions will be held in the Wild Rose Room from 1-4 pm or 6-9pm.
Health and Wellness Fair table registration is now open for the event on Thursday, Mar 12th from 4-6:30pm.
Let’s Play Metewetan is a partner program between Lac La Biche Native Friendship Centre, Parent Link and the library that will be held at the Native Friendship Centre. Join us on March 23rd from 5:30-7pm for a cultural family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0-6. This program encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children. All family are welcome, and a free dinner will be provided.
