What's Going on at LLBCL – May 19th Edition

All branches of Lac La Biche County Libraries including book drops and pop up locations, are closed until further notice to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Library Members have access to online e-resources and all due dates, hold pick up dates and memberships have been extended to July 31st.
Need a library card… just click on the link to sign up - https://short.llbcl.ca/MembershipApp. Once it is submitted, then one of our staff will enter your data the next business day. Library Staff are available from Monday - Friday between 9 - 4pm to aid with our e-resources. Please call the main line at 780-623-7467 to book an appointment.
Our last Virtual Family Challenge starts on Wednesday, May 20th. We want to see a photo of your sidewalk chalk or window art creations. This family activity can be submitted by posting in the comments, sending it via messenger or e-mailing the Library Director using icon on our homepage. All entries are due on Tuesday, June 2nd. Prizes will be awarded after all the challenges have been completed.
Next installment of RighT at Home featuring Joanne and hosted by the Lac La Biche County Libraries will be released on Thursday, May 21st. Join us for a fun time featuring stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts. The link will be posted on our website under the latest news section and Facebook page.
The Lac La Biche County Libraries Summer Literacy Program offers 7-10 free virtual literacy tutoring sessions to children currently in grades K to 5. Sessions will take place during the months of June, July and August. There are a limited number of spots available, but we hope to serve as many students as possible. If you would like your child to be a part of this program, please complete the online form (https://short.llbcl.ca/SLP) before Friday, May 29th.
