Community Awareness Newletter

Each Fall, FCSS organizes Community Awareness Nights to encourage local groups and organizations to come together to promote and advertise services and supports available. The events are free of charge for attendees and are great places to bring the family to explore and receive information about all Lamont County has to offer. Events are hosted annually in the Town of Lamont, Town of Bruderheim, Town of Mundare and the Village of Andrew.

Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 situation, we are unable to a host the Community Awareness Night in its traditional format. FCSS Lamont County Region instead will host a Lamont County Region Community Awareness Newsletter so that we can still help get the word out about each community's organization, club, events and/or services.

Within this newsletter you will find information on each community's organizations, clubs, events or services that are being held within the 2020/2021 year. There will also be ways to contact them for more information or if you would like to join that organization.

If for some reason you are unable to reach that organization please contact FCSS Lamont County Region at 780-895-2233 Ext. 226 or darlene.o@lamontcounty.ca and we will help connect you to that organization.

• Lamont - Town of Lamont Office & Lamont Foods
• Chipman - Village Office
• Bruderheim - Shell & Family Mart
• Mundare - Town of Mundare Office
• Andrew - Village Office and the Lions Club (during the day Wednesdays)
