Description: The Town of St. Paul FCSS/Parent Link Centre is seeking a part-time, contracted service:
Indigenous Liaison Worker

This is a 23 week (6 month) contract at 28 hours/week.

**Indigenous Liaison Worker funded by: The Parent Link Centre-Indigenous Enhancement Grant.**

Regular office hours are 8:30 - 4:30 (Monday – Friday)

Qualifications: Ideally, the candidate will:
 be knowledgeable in the Indigenous culture, spiritual teachings, ceremony and proper protocols.
 responsible for providing a positive bridge between indigenous communities and our agency.
 actively participate in the positive mentoring of our diverse families, including youth and seniors.
 organize and implement culturally relevant events and support programs at our Centre.
 strong written and oral communication skills.
 access to Indigenous resources and support from an Elder will be considered an asset.
 have a valid class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
 as a condition of employment, provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
 be flexible to work evenings and weekends if required to run a program or assist with an event.
