Indigenous Liaison Worker
This is a 23 week (6 month) contract at 28 hours/week.
**Indigenous Liaison Worker funded by: The Parent Link Centre-Indigenous Enhancement Grant.**
Regular office hours are 8:30 - 4:30 (Monday – Friday)

|Qualifications:||Ideally, the candidate will:
be knowledgeable in the Indigenous culture, spiritual teachings, ceremony and proper protocols.
responsible for providing a positive bridge between indigenous communities and our agency.
actively participate in the positive mentoring of our diverse families, including youth and seniors.
organize and implement culturally relevant events and support programs at our Centre.
strong written and oral communication skills.
access to Indigenous resources and support from an Elder will be considered an asset.
have a valid class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
as a condition of employment, provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
be flexible to work evenings and weekends if required to run a program or assist with an event.
